Outlook Fix for Users who can not send or receive after a mailbox move

Open the control Panel

START

CONTROL PANEL

Double Click the MAIL Icon 1

Note: If you do not see the MAIL icon 2 , click Switch to Classic View

Click E-MAIL ACCOUNTS

Click NEXT

Click CHANGE

The CHECK NAME button should be disabled. 7   To enable it, click next to your name press the SPACEBAR then press BACKSPACE to remove the space you just entered.  The CHECK NAME button will be enabled. 8   The Microsoft Exchange Server should change to a server starting with PBMAIL.

Click NEXT.  Click FINISH.  Click CLOSE.  Close the Control Panel. Open Outlook.

When fixing the profile in Outlook, Outlook can not be running.

Make sure that Outlook is closed and if the user has a Blackberry, that the Blackberry Desktop Manager software is closed.

If the name section is grayed out and you can not put a space there, then Outlook is running somewhere.  Check Task Manager and click the Processes tab and look for OUTLOOK.  End the OUTLOOK process if you find it.
